Kari Lake Says She Is Still ‘Laser-Focused’ on Arizona Election Lawsuit

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is currently pursuing her election-related lawsuit and leaving the possibility of a Senate run open.

In a tweet, Lake stated that her present focus was her court case. However, during an interview with OANN, she expressed interest in running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.), who is up for reelection in 2024.

Lake mentioned that she is seriously considering the Senate run and is currently exploring the possibility. She believes that the election was stolen from her, which is why she considers herself dangerous to the status quo and the “rotten swamp.”

Reports suggest that Sinema may run as an independent, potentially making the race against Lake and Democratic candidate Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.). Lake described internal polls showing that she beats both of them.

Earlier in the year, Lake met with members of a Senate Republican team in Washington, although details of the meeting remain unknown.

Lake had initially filed a lawsuit days after the Nov. 8 election, alleging that Republican voters were disenfranchised due to widespread issues in Maricopa County polling locations.
