White House Press Secretary Addresses Questions About Hunter Biden
During a press conference on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to address concerns surrounding Hunter Biden. She emphasized that Hunter Biden is a private citizen and that his personal matters should be treated as such.
Jean-Pierre reiterated that President Biden and the First Lady love their son and support him as he works to rebuild his life. She directed any further inquiries to the Department of Justice and Hunter’s legal team.
Despite these statements, Jean-Pierre repeatedly evaded questions about the president’s son during the press conference. When asked if she had spoken to Biden that day, she claimed that he had been busy with internal meetings and left it at that.

The reporter asked if President Biden believes that someone charged with possessing a firearm illegally should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Jean-Pierre declined to comment on the specific case in Delaware, stating that it is an independent matter for the Department of Justice to handle.
She emphasized that legal and criminal matters should be left to the appropriate legal process and refrained from providing further details.
