‘Keep Him Isolated Until 2025’: Jimmy Fallon Roasts Biden Over COVID Scare

“Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon joked Monday night that White House staff would keep President Joe Biden isolated until the end of his first term.

“Well, let’s get to some news, guys well guys, the past five days, President Biden has been isolating with Covid and today his doctor said that his symptoms are now almost completely resolved,” Fallon said. “Yeah, that’s great. The White House announced President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday, with mild symptoms. The White House’s perceived hostility toward questions about Biden’s health drew criticism Friday.

Fallon also riffed on Biden’s infamous March 2021 fall while climbing the stairs to board Air Force One.

“I’m happy for the president because usually when you hear the words ‘Biden’ and ‘viral,’ it’s because he fell up the stairs,” Fallon said.

Biden’s medical history includes two operations to treat brain aneurysms and a pulmonary embolism in 1988, according to media reports at the time. Biden has discontinued using Eliquis and Crestor while being treated for COVID, according to White House updates.

High-profile Democrats like Democratic Reps. Cori Bush of Missouri and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York evaded questions about whether they would support Biden if he ran for re-election.
