Kellogg: End Ukraine War Quickly to Finally Focus on CCP Threat

The United States should work to quickly to end the Russia-Ukraine war so it can finally focus on its main global threat, the Chinese Communist Party, according to Keith Kellogg, the former national security advisor to the vice president of the United States.

Kellogg stated to Jan Jekielek (a senior editor at The Epoch Times) that it was impossible for the conflict in Ukraine to be prolonged. “you’ll never be able to put it back in the box.”

“I would give Putin a choice. If I was the president, I’d say you should pick up the phone, which President Biden has not done. You pick up the phone and call Putin and say, ‘You got an option … You’re going to lose your army in Ukraine or you’re going to take it home,'” Kellogg claimed.

“There’s nothing wrong with taking a strategic adversary, like the Russians off the stage, because then, for the first time in 21 years, we can focus on the predominant threat facing the United States. And that’s China.”

Kellogg spoke of the advice he had given President Donald Trump. “the best thing you can have in the military is fight one enemy at a time. Never fight two.”

Kellogg stated that the United States should support Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian army, and negotiate with Russia’s top leadership.

“When I was over in Ukraine and spent over two weeks there with them, Ukrainians don’t want any Americans. They don’t want anybody there. They want the equipment to fight the Russians. And they’ve got the Russians on the back heels” Kellogg claimed. “And I think that’s good, because I think we’ve taken a strategic adversary off the stage.”

Jekielek points out China’s involvement in unconventional warfare. This includes financial and psychological warfare. Kellogg was asked by him whether the U.S. military can understand why a war is not being fought with shots fired.

Kellogg made it clear that everybody must understand this “risk is a province of war.”

General says the administration is not inclined to take risks, which could pose a problem when supporting our allies abroad.

According to the general, he was most worried about President Joe Biden’s health. “lack of presidential decision-making … The concern I’ve got is they don’t have the adults in the room.”

Kellogg stated, “No one should bet against or count out the American military.” Despite his knowledge that some military personnel might exist. “issues,” It could also be detrimentally woken.

He stressed that it is the job of the military to defeat and deter enemy forces, but he isn’t sure that’s the focus at the moment.

Kellogg believes that the Chinese Communist Party is a major threat to America. He cited comments by Xi Jinping (China’s leader) about East and Western being “irreconcilable.” Kellogg stated that China seeks to control the entire region, and it has taken a lot of aggressive steps in order to do so.

Kellogg claimed that Trump has made the United States look at them. “decoupling” As a means of moving away having so many Chinese businesses. He pointed out that China has funded its government and military with $350 billion of trade surplus between them and the United States.

“We need to decouple and move away from that,” Kellogg claimed.

Recent weeks have seen the Biden administration warn China to stop supplying military support to Russia for its war in Ukraine. China’s and Russia’s leaders plan to meet over the next few months. This suggests that the two nations may be closer due to Russia’s isolation from the West, exacerbated by the invasion of Ukraine.
