Kevin McCarthy Makes MTG Speaker Pro Tempore on International Women’s Day

Representing Kevin McCarthy named Marjorie Taylor Green, the Speaker Pro Tempore in recognition of International Women’s Day.

Marjorie Taylor Greene (Republican-Ga.), used the speaker’s podium to officially open the House.

This was Greene’s first appearance as Speaker pro Tempore. He replaced Kevin McCarthy, the Republican-Calif.

This is the beginning of a new era in Representative Greene’s life. For two years, she had been expelled by all House committees for disagreeing with her most controversial statements.

Following her House opening, she went to COVID-19’s select committee hearing where Biden representatives will be asked about the history of the virus.
