Biden Administration Confused About Military’s Simple Job, Says Kevin McCullough.
The Importance of a Lethal Military Force
It may not sound pretty or woke, but the job of our military is to have the most lethal force in the world. Plain and simple. By having the most lethal force, we not only protect ourselves but also our allies. However, the current administration seems confused about this.
The Need for Capacity
Our military should have the greatest capacity possible to achieve this goal. We need the most powerful weapons, the bombs with the biggest payload, and the delivery mechanisms with the fastest speed, farthest range, and most accurate guidance. We should not put any tactical limitations on our military before they are engaged in actual combat.
But the Biden team seems to view our military as a grandiose sandbox for cultural experimentation. They prioritize things like pronouns, unisex showers, bathrooms, locker rooms, and green energy over the ability to kill people and break things.
The All-Electric Military Fleet
Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm recently suggested that the military could switch over its military fleet to all electric vehicles by 2030. This idea is not practical for modern day nomadic warfare. Our military cannot have any faith that energy sources will exist when dropping into a theater of war. Even in Afghanistan, we built above-the-ground pipelines to ensure fuel was abundant wherever our troops needed it.
The left cannot handle hard realities like the fact that war is brutal and ugly. The best way to avoid it is to have the most and the deadliest weapons in existence. This is why they envision our military being “all electric” by 2030 with a straight face.
The Solution
The actual answer for both sides is to create nuclear-powered vehicles. We have done it with aircraft carriers and submarines, and it seems to work quite well. General Jack Keane confirmed that the US is researching the idea. To achieve this would give us the biggest advantage yet in keeping all of the worst leaders on the globe in check. This is what our leaders have to prepare for us to do.
Without having a force more lethal than every other nation on the planet, we cannot ensure our safety. Ultimately, that is what we most care about.
