Kevin O’Leary says Harris ‘intentionally’ won’t release her economic policy

Shark Tank star and international businessman Kevin O’Leary said Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris has deliberately chosen not to publicly release her economic policy plans.

“It’s intentional. She has no intention of putting any policy out there until this convention is over,” O’Leary told Fox News’s America’s Newsroom while responding to the fact that the Harris campaign website appears to contain no economic plan.

Former President Donald Trump leads the presumptive Democratic nominee by 12 points in a recent survey about which candidate is best able to handle the economy, but “Mr. Wonderful” said he works with close advisers to Harris who tell him all is smooth for the Harris campaign.

“They said, ‘Listen, everything is working right now,’” according to O’Leary. “‘We’re gonna strong-arm the press on policy. We don’t need to do anything.’”

Harris’s campaign is working, her advisers tell O’Leary, and there does not appear to be a need for the vice president to sit down and talk policy, he said.

“They think they can raise up to $300 million before this whole thing that’s gonna happen this weekend is over,” O’Leary said. “That’s an extraordinary amount of money. Then it’s time to talk policy. Then it’s time to go to the center. Then it’s time to talk about [the] border.”

Harris’s advisers have not told “Mr. Wonderful” where she stands on these issues because they are too busy raising money, he said.

“No problem here Houston. We’re just raising dough,” O’Leary described their attitude as. “You got to hand it to her, they’re now talking within that campaign about a path to winning that they didn’t even see eight days ago.”
