Kevin Sorbo advises countering Hollywood’s hate with positive films.

Actor Kevin Sorbo’s Prescription for Hollywood

Kevin Sorbo, known for his role in Hercules, recently shared his thoughts on⁣ how Hollywood‍ can turn things around. During an appearance on Fox News’s Lawrence Jones Cross Country, ‍Sorbo suggested that the film industry counter the‌ recent surge in demonic references in media by producing more movies that ‍promote positivity. ‍To illustrate his point, Sorbo highlighted his own‍ filmography, with his latest⁣ project being Miracle in East Texas.

“It ⁣seems that everything they do,⁢ God uses‍ them⁣ for something positive,” Sorbo remarked. “I enjoy working on movies and TV shows that have a positive message, something that ‍Hollywood used to do. They used to release movies with a⁣ positive impact.”

Host Lawrence Jones⁣ expressed his disappointment that Sorbo’s films are not widely distributed in theaters, but instead are limited to smaller venues. Sorbo revealed that‍ his agent once explained that this was due to his⁢ outspokenness about Christian and conservative values.

Now, ‌Sorbo is not only an actor but also the head of his own⁤ studio, where he has even taken on the⁤ role‍ of director for his latest project.

Meanwhile, the Screen ‍Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, representing approximately 160,000 performers, have been on ‍strike for 57 days as of Sunday. The negotiations with ⁢the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers primarily revolve‍ around increased wages and protections against artificial intelligence.

It is ‌unlikely that Sorbo ‍Studios is part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, which means they can promote their films during the strike.
