KJP Refuses to Answer Whether Biden’s Proposed Gun Ban Will Lead To Confiscation

Joe Biden is doubling down on his efforts to restrict guns following the shooting at a Christian school in Nashville. During his commentary on the shooting, Biden demonstrated his lack of knowledge of firearms by claiming that an “AR-15 bullet” would “blow up once it’s inside the body.” Furthermore, he displayed his lack of familiarity with gun laws by stating that machine guns and automatic weapons are illegal, which is not entirely true. Biden also erroneously claimed that one cannot own a flamethrower, when in fact, it can be purchased from Amazon. Despite his flawed knowledge of firearms, Biden is now working to implement gun restrictions.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre disclosed the administration’s intentions during a press briefing on Wednesday. When asked about Beto O’Rourke’s statement from the last presidential election in 2020, where he vowed to “come for” AR-15s, Jean-Pierre confirmed that the government considers these types of guns, in addition to “assault weapons,” to be “weapons of war” that should not be on the streets, or in places like schools, grocery stores, and churches. Although the reporter specifically inquired whether Biden supported confiscating semi-automatic guns, Jean-Pierre did not answer the question directly, suggesting that they would be “unacceptable” in circulation.

It appears that the government is implying that they would try to seize guns. Nevertheless, these guns are widely held and used safely by Americans every day. Instead of addressing the issue of crime and violent individuals, Biden demonizes guns and seeks to infringe on the rights of law-abiding citizens. The government’s disregard for American citizens’ rights is unacceptable, and all Congress members should condemn their statements targeting the rights of the people.

It is unclear how the Biden administration plans to execute a gun confiscation if that is what they intend to do. It seems unlikely that Americans would willingly surrender their constitutional rights. Therefore, such unconstitutional actions by the government need to be condemned and challenged.
