KJP lashes out at reporter over Biden’s honesty: ‘Totally inappropriate’
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Becomes Irate During Press Briefing
During a press briefing on Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre became visibly irritated when a reporter questioned whether President Joe Biden had lied to the public about his son’s foreign business dealings.
The reporter’s inquiry came after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced that Republicans would be launching an impeachment inquiry into the president. Republicans claim to have evidence that suggests a culture of corruption surrounding the Biden family.
One reporter asked Jean-Pierre, “How confident are you that there will be no evidence that incriminates President Biden in Hunter’s business dealings as this goes forward?”
In response, Jean-Pierre pointed out that House Republicans have been investigating the president all year and have found no evidence of wrongdoing. She emphasized that the president did nothing wrong.
Another reporter then asked, ”Is lying to the public wrong?”
Despite the interruption, Jean-Pierre continued to address the original question. However, she couldn’t contain her frustration and snapped at the reporter who asked about lying, calling it “incredibly inappropriate.”
Undeterred, the reporter pressed further, asking, “Do you dispute that he lied?”
Instead of answering the question directly, Jean-Pierre claimed that Republicans had already debunked their attacks and their allegations were baseless.

At the end of the press conference, another reporter confronted Jean-Pierre, asking, “Can you explain why the president interacted with so many of his son’s foreign business associates? More than half of voters told CNN they believe the president was involved and he lied. You can’t have a response to that, Karine?”
Instead of answering the question, Jean-Pierre abruptly walked out of the press conference, leaving the question unanswered.
