Kyle Busch Shuts Down Reporters When They Ask Him Why He Conceal Carries
After being questioned by reporters about his decision to conceal his carry, Kyle Busch of NASCAR shut down reporters.
Busch posted on social media that he had revealed that he was concealing his carries in February. “In late January, Samantha and I enjoyed a several day vacation in Mexico. When departing the country, my handgun was flagged during routine screening at the airport. I have a valid concealed carry permit from my local authority and adhere to all handgun laws, but I made a mistake by forgetting it was in my bag.”
He continued, “Discovery of the handgun led to my detainment while the situation was resolved. I was not aware of Mexican law and had no intention of bringing a handgun into Mexico. When it was discovered, I fully cooperated with the authorities, accepted the penalties, and returned to North Carolina.”
“I apologize for my mistake and appreciate the respect shown by all parties as we resolved the matter. My family and I consider this issue closed,” He concluded.

Busch answered a few reporters’ questions about his detention in Mexico during a press conference that preceded the Daytona 500.
One reporter first asked, “Kyle, it seemed like there was some confusion after the Mexico thing on whether that was fully resolved are you able to say whether that’s complete done in the past? Or can you shed any light on that?”
Busch answered, “I made a statement on that earlier and that’s all that’ll be said on that topic.”
Another question was posed by a second reporter, this time from the Associated Press. “Sort of related to that topic. I mean you were involved in a scary incident in Minnesota. Mall of America. Did that play any role in why you feel you need to carry a gun?”
Busch answered, “No, I was a carrier before that.”
The reporter then asked, “Usuaully when you travel anywhere or just…?
Busch responded, “Into the, I don’t know the M-word that it’s called, but in the places that you’re allowed to, yeah.” Busch responded to a question about why he carries. “Doesn’t matter.”
Busch has the right to close these reporters. As you can see, Busch’s statement clearly states that the matter has been resolved. He and his family consider it closed.
Second, this is America. We as citizens of America have the right to bear arms according to the Second Amendment. The Second Amendment is clear, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bears Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Thomas Jefferson explained the Second Amendment in detail, even if it was not clear enough. John Wright received a letter in 1824.. Jefferson wrote: “The constitutions of most of our states assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves, in all cases to which they think themselves competent, (as in electing their functionaries executive and legislative, and deciding by a jury of themselves, both fact and law, in all judiciary cases in which any fact is involved) or they may act by representatives, freely and equally chosen; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed; that they are entitled to freedom of person; freedom of religion; freedom of property; and freedom of the press.”
Sam Adams made this clear also during the The Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Debates and Proceedings. He said, “The Constitution shall never be construed…to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.
