This sentiment should be (and is) sufficient, even with gun violence added in for good measure. But in California, it’s not. “too far.” The Rams decided that they would push the issue further by promoting the anti-second Amendment group. Everytown for Gun Safety, as if guns are Los Angeles’ problem, not unchecked criminal behavior and soft-on-crime policies.
Text ACT to 644-3 to help end gun violence. #EndGunViolence We are proud to be from this country.

Everytown for Gun Safety, an anti-second amendment activist organization, was started by a billionaire. Michael BloombergHe was also mayor of one the most violent US cities. It is also a Democrat-led political organization that has pledged more than $60 million dollars to Democrat candidates for the 2020 election season. They are still working to influence elections and to push elected officials to support their anti-second Amendment agenda.
It’s all fine and dandy. They are open about their mission and don’t hide it. There are many people in the Los Angeles Rams organization that align with them. Everytown’s values, Many fans, too. To be sure, there are also plenty of employees and fans who value their second amendment rights, and find activist groups like Bloomberg’s quite objectionable.
It is only natural that a football team would not politicize a tragic incident and use it to raise money for a political partisan group.
Sports are what brings Americans together, especially at this time of year when so many of us are watching the football playoffs, which will be the largest sporting event in America. This could have been an opportunity for the Rams to create that same sense togetherness in difficult times, as we await the details.
There are a myriad of charities the Rams organization could have encouraged Americans to donate towards, ones that don’t actively campaign for one political party or another. In this case it is the very political party who’s policies and “defund the police” These platforms have caused a rash crime plagued innocent Americans.
Los Angeles Rams are joining many professional sports teams that seem to actively seek to displease their most loyal fans.
