Larry O’Connor: Where Was Biden’s Apology to Border Patrol Agents?

President Joe Biden made it a point to spend three hours at the US-Mexico border taking photos.

In the last two years, Customs and Border Patrol agents working at America’s Southern border were stretched to breaking point. Record breaking numbers of illegal crossings, and an unprecedented wave of asylum seekers have resulted in a surge in the number of border patrol agents. “gotaways,” Biden’s presidency has brought to light the heroic men and women who have pledged to protect our borders. Literally and metaphorically.

In a shameful act defiance by the executive branch, Kamala Harris, Vice President/Border Czar Kamala Harris directed rhetorical friendly firing at the agents last year. 

An AP photographer captured the chaotic scenes in which illegal immigrants from Haiti tried to evade mounted border agents. 

“Those white racist cops on horseback are whipping these black migrants!” Twitterged left-wing activists in mainstream media

The White House accepted the “whipping” narrative was ignited and social media exploded in response.

Beautiful photos of brave border agents riding their disciplined and well-trained horses should have served to show the professionalism of those who risk their lives daily to bring order to chaos on our borders. A man-made chaos. A man-made chaos created by the White House man.

As in most social media outrage stories, the photos were misinterpreted due to built-in biases and agendas. 

It didn’t matter that mounted border patrol agents weren’t equipped with whips, the outrage mob had already constructed their false narrative.

Biden was outraged at the behavior of mounted agents. “strapping” The Haitians at the Border

Strapping? The media didn’t seem curious about the meaning of strapping.

The fact that whipping was converted to strapping in such a seamless fashion proved that outrage was more important then reality.

Left-wing activists, desperate to draw attention away form the man who caused the chaos at the border, insisted that black Haitians are being whipped. It was evident from the photos. It was obvious that the white man on horseback wearing a cowboy hat and whipping the poor black man.

What are you saying? They don’t even have whips. What are those long leather items? Straps? Okay then…

Evidently, the poor black man was being strapped by the white man riding on a horse with a cowboy cap.

You ask? It’s not a thing. This is why strapping is not used. It doesn’t matter.

Because he’s racist, he whipped the black man. However, he had a whip and was using a strap to strap the black man.

There. That logic is undisputed.

Biden stated that the border patrol agent strapped the illegal Haitian immigrant. This outrageous behavior would only be tolerated in extreme circumstances.

An investigation into the incident revealed that border patrol agents did nothing wrong and that no Haitian was ever whipped, strapped, or any other form of abuse. 

It was all a fabrication.

Joe Biden perpetuated this lie in order to demonize and divide America along racial lines and political lines.

Just like the many lies in Joe Biden’s abominable political career.

Joe Biden decided to take a photo of the chaos after destroying an orderly, secure border he had inherited after two years. His main purpose for his visit? To be able tell a reporter that he went there.

He even took a photo in front of the wall, which he and his Democratic Party allies and the media have demonized for the past ten years. He walked past the wall that he and his fellow Democrats insist doesn’t work.

While he was walking along the only section of the border that is protected by the wall his predecessor constructed, he was also seen talking to two border patrol officers.

Although the pool reporters were not close enough to hear the conversation, I can assure you that the words were there. “I’m sorry” His presidential lips were never empty.
