Liberal media falsely labels Trump as a dictator, while Biden exhibits true authoritarian tendencies
Is Trump the Would-Be Dictator?
Clearly, the liberal media is using scare tactics to convince people that if former President Donald Trump is elected again in 2024, he will assume dictatorial powers. However, the irony is that President Joe Biden has actually acted in more authoritarian ways than Trump ever did. It seems like the liberal media is projecting their own problems onto Trump.
Currently, the Justice Department is aggressively trying to put Trump, who is the leading candidate for the Republican nomination and is even beating Biden in the polls, in prison for life. This is just one example of the Biden administration’s dictatorial actions.
The liberal media’s goal is clear: they want to convince enough voters in key swing states to make a difference in the election. They are employing the strategy of making the other candidate seem unacceptable when their own preferred candidate’s record and policies are weak.
In 2016, the Democrats tried this strategy with Hillary Clinton, focusing solely on attacking Trump instead of promoting Clinton’s policies or leadership qualities. It didn’t work. However, Biden successfully used a similar technique in 2020, labeling Trump as a racist and promising a return to normalcy. But as we’ve seen with the economy, foreign policy, and the southern border, that promise has not been fulfilled.
So now, the media is once again writing stories about how Trump would be a dictator.
The alarm has gone off. Around this time in 2015, some in political/commentary class realized Trump could win GOP nomination. Freakout ensued, although many remained confident Trump could not win general. Now, warning machine has kicked into higher gear. pic.twitter.com/ZRtnloWAw2

Biden’s Authoritarian Moves
Let’s take a look at some of the actions Biden has taken since taking office. According to Allysia Finley of The Wall Street Journal, the portrayal of Trump as a would-be dictator is actually a case of psychological projection. In reality, Biden has made several authoritarian moves, such as attempting to cancel student loan debt by executive fiat. When the Supreme Court rejected this, Biden found other ways to write off billions of dollars in debt.
Indeed, it is time to start worrying about the threat of authoritarianism in the White House. From @AllysiaFinley @WSJopinion: https://t.co/uVIwFoChzf pic.twitter.com/Mp8DOrp4kz

Biden also tried to impose a vaccine mandate on American workers, but the courts largely rejected it. The administration’s handling of immigration has led to the worst border crisis in U.S. history. Additionally, pressure has been put on big tech companies to limit Americans’ First Amendment rights.
