Liberals Have Another Reason to Hate KISS, the Most Patriotic Band in the World

KISS is one of the biggest rock bands in the world and has been for many decades.

The rockers known for their wild outfits and blistering rock anthems like “Detroit Rock City,” “Love Gun,” and “Strutter” have also made news for some outspoken political and patriotic views.

There are lots of great stories about the band – but many might not know about one of the best ones: that the band’s drummer is also an honorary corporal police officer in Texas.

Police to KISS’s Eric Singer: ‘We ask that you display’ the badge proudly

KISS drummer Eric Singer, who replaced original drummer Peter Criss in 2001, was sworn in as an honorary corporal with the Wharton Police Department in Texas before a concert in Houston in 2019.

A Facebook statement from the Wharton Police Department read, “On behalf of Chief Terry David Lynch, and the men and women of the Wharton Police Department, we appoint you to the rank of Honorary Corporal with our department, in grateful acknowledgement of the honor and respect you show all of America’s dedicated law enforcement heroes and their families.”

“The Corporal badge presented to you today has been selflessly worn by many within our department and today, it begins a new chapter with you,” the statement continued.

“We ask that you display it proudly as it represents our commitment to protect those who call on us in times of danger, and in remembrance of the nearly 24,000 officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice since 1791.”

No word on how many bad guys Singer has apprehended using his newfound power!

One of KISS’s most patriotic moments is also a favorite of The Political Insider.

KISS once stopped playing at their concert to denounce Colin Kaepernick and any other athletes who disrespected the American flag during the playing of the national anthem.

In Massachusetts in 2017, legendary lead singer Paul Stanley gave a short but rousing speech about patriotism and honoring America.

KISS’s Paul Stanley: ‘Loving your country is always cool’

When the band paused their show, they honored military members, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and then performed the national anthem.
“You should remember, patriotism is always cool,” lead singer Paul Stanley said at the time. “Loving your country is always cool.”

“Standing up, respecting, and honoring our military is always cool,” Stanley added.

Stanley also said, “So, to show some respect between pick-throwing, we’re going to put our right hands over our hearts and why don’t we say the Pledge of Allegiance.”
