Lindsey Graham recounts Harris’s ‘bats*** crazy’ policies in defense of Trump – Washington Examiner
In a recent statement, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defended former President Donald Trump following controversial remarks made by Trump about Vice President Kamala Harris. During a rally, Trump claimed that Harris is “mentally disabled,” which prompted scrutiny. In response, Graham suggested that Trump should focus on criticizing Harris’s policies rather than her person. He characterized her policies, such as the handling of immigration, withdraw from Afghanistan, and proposals like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal, as “bats*** crazy.” Graham argued that the implications of these policies have significant negative effects on the American people and emphasized the need for substantive critique rather than personal attacks.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) defended former President Donald Trump in the wake of comments he made against Vice President Kamala Harris, citing how Harris is “crazy liberal.”
Trump said during a rally in Wisconsin that Harris is mentally disabled and that “only a mentally disabled person” could lead the United States in the manner that she has. When asked about these comments, Graham argued that the former president should pursue “the better course” of critiquing her policies.
“People have been hurt by illegal immigrants released in this country without detention. It is a nightmare, it is crazy,” Graham said on CNN’s State of the Union. “It’s crazy to boycott a speech by the prime minister of Israel to a joint session of Congress thinking it won‘t embolden Iran. It’s crazy to withdraw from Afghanistan hoping things will be different this time. Medicare for all, Green New Deal, crazy stuff. I‘m not saying she‘s crazy. I’m saying your policies are bats*** crazy.”
Graham also addressed Trump’s decision not to participate in another debate against Harris, saying he would like to see the former president debate Harris again. He contended “the world is literally on fire” and would like to hear why Harris can do better as president when she has already been in power for almost four years.
The South Carolina senator was particularly critical of Harris’s handling of the Middle East, stating that she is “weak in the eyes of all of our enemies.” He suggested that Trump should focus on this in the event that another debate is held before the election.
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) also cautioned against a potential Harris presidency, arguing Harris would “continue to appease Iran.” He also claimed Iran is interfering with the 2024 election to help Harris, citing the recent hack the Middle Eastern country conducted on the Trump campaign.
