Lindsey Graham Warns Biden Impeachment Will Be ‘Dead on Arrival’ for One Fatal Flaw

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina firmly believes that the impeachment process should not be perverted, even if President Joe Biden has been a failure in the White House.

Graham points out that Democrats disregarded the concept of due process in their previous impeachment efforts against former President Donald Trump. He argues that taking the same approach with Biden would be a mistake.

According to Graham, having a House floor vote on articles of impeachment, as Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado proposed, is not the right way to proceed. He believes that a proper process should be followed, including committee hearings and giving the President a chance to respond.

Boebert’s attempt to force a floor vote on the articles of impeachment against Biden was met with a different outcome. The House voted to send the articles to the Homeland Security and Judiciary committees for further review. Boebert’s articles of impeachment focused on Biden’s handling of the border crisis.

Despite the compromise, Boebert remains determined to hold Biden accountable. She sees the House vote as a victory and vows to use every available procedural tool to advance impeachment proceedings.

Republican Rep. Mike Garcia of California shares Graham’s view that the impeachment process should follow a proper procedure and not be rushed without substantiation and validity.

Boebert’s unconventional tactics to push impeachment to the forefront have garnered attention. She is determined to highlight the importance of the constitutional check and balance on Biden’s failure to enforce immigration and border security laws.

While Graham warns that an impeachment without due process would be “dead on arrival,” Boebert remains committed to using every available tool to hold Biden accountable.
