A Community Member Raises Concerns Over President Biden’s Vacation Home
A stunning mansion nestled in the picturesque Lake Tahoe, Nevada, has become the subject of scrutiny for at least one member of the community.
This magnificent property, owned by Democratic megabillionaire donor Tom Steyer, served as the vacation residence for President Biden and his family during their August getaway.
The Nevada Globe has confirmed that a concerned local resident filed a complaint with Douglas County regarding the use of this lakefront mansion as a vacation rental home.
Ernie Strehlow, the Douglas County Vacation Home Rental Program Manager, has acknowledged that the county is now investigating potential misuse of the property.
According to Douglas County’s regulations, a license is required for the use of residential properties as vacation homes.
There is currently no indication that the property in question has obtained such a license, which could result in a hefty $20,000 fine for Steyer.
The White House has stated that President Biden was renting the home at “fair market value,” as reported by the San Francisco Gate.

This is not the first time President Biden has enjoyed vacations at homes owned by ultra-rich Democratic Party donors, completely free of charge.

Considering Steyer’s net worth of $1.5 billion, it is unlikely that he would need to rent out this $18 million property, which may explain the oversight in obtaining the necessary license.
The Biden family’s vacation at this luxurious home was initially cut short due to the president’s urgent visit to Hawaii following devastating wildfires in the state.
However, after a weekend trip to the islands, President Biden has returned to Nevada.
