Al Russell, CEO of the London Clinic, emphasized the significance of patient confidentiality, stating, “Everyone at the London Clinic is acutely aware of our duties with regards to patient privacy.” The statement highlighted the hospital’s commitment to providing outstanding care while upholding patient trust.
Russell mentioned that the hospital has robust systems in place to monitor patient information and will take appropriate actions if breaches occur. There is zero tolerance for any actions that compromise patient trust or violate ethical standards.
Recent reports revealed an alleged attempt by a staff member to access Middleton’s medical records, causing shock and distress among the medical staff. The breach prompted the hospital to reach out to the royal household of the Princess and Prince of Wales.
