Madonna Defends Explicit NFT Collection ‘Mother Of Creation’ Featuring Nature Emerging From Her Private Parts

Madonna is vying for attention again using her naked body, and this time she’s charging admission.

The 63-year-old singer recently announced that she’d be working with nonfungible token (NFT) artist Beeple to create an unforgettable image series, the New York Post reported. The NFT “Mother of Creation” included explicit graphics of Madonna completely nude and giving birth to butterflies, insects, and trees.

The publication noted that the collection also includes a 3D model of her vagina. Proceeds will be given to the charity organizations National Bail Out, V-Day, and Voices of Children.

Social media reacted strongly, with many fans saying this was too far even for Madonna. The “Like a Prayer” singer clarified her thoughts on the project by releasing a video interview between herself and Beeple creator Mike Winkelmann.

“I’m doing what women have been doing since the beginning of time, which is giving birth,” the Grammy Award winner said in a video that she shared to her Instagram account.

“But on a more existential level, I’m giving birth to art and creativity and we would be lost without both,” she continued. “I think it’s really important that a lot of thought and conversation went into creating these videos.”

Madonna and Winkelmann elaborated on their inspiration for the NFT series, with the “Material Girl” singer saying her vision was captured in the final product.

“I say we need a forest with creepy crawly bugs coming out of me,” she explained. “Not often does a robot centipede crawl out of my vagina.”

“My journey through life as a woman is like that of a tree. Starting with a small seed, always pushing against the resistance of the Earth. The endless weight of gravity,” Madonna said.

On Wednesday, the singer said in a statement that the NFT was designed “to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity.”

Most fans were shocked by the strange and graphic images of the NFT, but others were not surprised to see Madonna participating in such a revealing photo shoot.

“There’s nothing ‘wild’ in this….just an aging star who’s trying to shock and remain relevant….. and failing,” one person observed.

In recent weeks, the pop star went viral for debuting a new look that seemed to indicate she had undergone plastic surgery, rendering her face almost unrecognizable.
