Sheriff’s Detectives Investigate Shooting Incident in Lancaster
Sheriff’s detectives have one suspect in custody and are currently conducting a thorough investigation into a tragic shooting incident that occurred on August 12 in Lancaster. The incident resulted in the loss of two lives and left another individual injured.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit Lt. Michael Gomez, sheriff’s deputies responded to a distress call at approximately 7:55 p.m. on August 11. They arrived at the 3300 block of Knott Court, where they discovered the victims.
The victims, two men aged between 40 to 50 years old, had sustained gunshot wounds to their upper torsos and were pronounced dead at the scene. The third victim, also a man in the same age range, was rushed to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Authorities have apprehended a suspect believed to be connected to the shootings. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be revealed as more information becomes available.
