Man Suspected Of Slaying Temple University Cop Arrested With Fallen Officer’s Handcuffs
According to reports, law enforcement officials arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a Temple University officer.
U.S. U.S. Marshals arrested an 18 year old man in Buckingham Township, Bucks County in connection with the fatal incident. Sources told CBS News. As of press time, the suspect was not identified.
“We can confirm that a suspect has been taken into custody for the murder of one of our police officers. We are told that the arrest was made using our fallen officers’ handcuffs,” The Temple University Police Association tweeted.

Police claim that an officer was shot in head when he tried to intervene in a carjacking. per 6 ABC. After being taken into a hospital, the officer was declared deceased.
“There are simply no words that can make sense of this tragedy. It tears at our sense of community and safety. We all mourn this unspeakable loss,” Temple University President Jason Wingard Statement.
He stated that the university would not identify him out of “respect for the officer’s family and friends, we are not releasing his identity at this time.”
