The cause of Argote’s death is still unknown, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact circumstances.
According to Sheriff Brian K. Albert, Judge Wilkinson’s murder was a tragic event for his family. Wilkinson had presided over Argote’s divorce proceedings and had recently granted custody of Argote’s children to his ex-spouse.
Argote’s ex-wife had expressed concerns about his controlling behavior and the possibility that he carried a weapon at all times.
