Manhattan DA’s Office Nukes ‘Meet Our Team’ Page, Staff Scrub Online Profiles

The Manhattan district attorney’s office removed the “Meet Our Team” page from its website before the arraignment of former President Donald Trump on Tuesday.

Previously, the page included the previous work experiences of the team members, but it now displays a “Not Found” message. As per Wayback Machine, the page was last accessible on Monday.

Donald Trump was charged by Bragg last week and was arraigned in a New York criminal court on Tuesday afternoon. Trump, who is the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts that carry a maximum sentence of 136 years in prison. If convicted of any one of the charges, he will not be allowed to contest the 2024 presidential elections. Bragg was elected mainly because of his commitment to investigate the former president.

The staff members with social media profiles have temporarily deactivated their accounts as Trump appears in court. Meg Reiss, Bragg’s Chief Assistant District Attorney, deactivated her Twitter account. A Federalist report revealed that Reiss previously liked anti-Trump tweets and donated at least $15,000 to anti-Republican campaigns since 2008. Similarly, Susan Hoffinger, Bragg’s chief of investigations, donated more than $6,700 to Democrat causes since 2004, including $500 in donations to President Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign. Bragg’s chief of staff, Jordan Stockdale, also deactivated his Twitter account. Before deactivating the account, Stockdale liked tweets calling for Trump’s impeachment.

Trump’s arraignment makes President Biden similar to Russian President Vladimir Putin, with each president’s chief domestic political opponents under arrest. In addition to the Manhattan charges over hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels, Trump faces investigations by Biden’s Department of Justice and Georgia prosecutors over the 2020 election, classified documents, and Jan. 6, 2021.
