Marianne Williamson Considering Challenging Biden in 2024
Former Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson According to reports, he may challenge President Biden for the White House in 2020.
The spiritual self-help author is expected this weekend to announce her political future. New HampshireShe will also be the first Democratic candidate to run if she is elected.
“Apparently Biden’s going to run on a message that the economy is getting stronger. I think that speaks to the disconnect between the analysis of party elites versus the struggle of everyday Americans,” Williamson spoke out to Politico this week about how she made her decisions.

“We’re being asked to limit our political imaginations — to just accept the low unemployment and low inflation rate, that that is sort of the best that we can get,” She continued. “But that is a hollow victory. The majority of Americans are still struggling to survive.”
Williamson ran in the 2020 Democratic primary elections for the White House, before eventually dropping out in January. Iowa Caucuses and endorsing Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
Despite being accused of being an anti vaxxer during her last campaign, she strongly denied that she was anti-science. The accusations were brought up by Politico when she was asked what the media thought about her in the last cycle.
“I’m certainly not anti-science. I’m not anti-vax. I’m not the crystal lady. I didn’t tell people they got sick because they didn’t pray enough. Basically, I’m not stupid,” She spoke to Politico.
New Hampshire has been moved to third place by the Democratic National Committee, after it held the first primary in the presidential nominating process. This has caused a lot of upset in New Hampshire, and speculation has been rife that Biden might face a primary opponent in that state.
“How can the Democratic Party present itself as a champion of democracy and do something as undemocratic as overtly engineering the primary schedule to make sure that their chosen candidate would win it?” Williamson spoke to Politico “That is spitting in the face of democracy.”

Williamson indicated that she would be running as a Democrat, rather than an independent, if she is elected to the race. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is rumored to be another Democrat considering his own Biden challenge. This is the son of Democratic New York Senator Robert Kennedy.
