Marjorie Taylor Greene Blasts Proposed Zelensky Bust in Capitol
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene fiercely opposed the idea to place a bust in the U.S. Capitol of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zilensky.
Greene is a prominent critic for sending U.S. aid funds. Ukraine, blasted Rep. Joe Wilson’s (R-SC) resolution that would direct the House’s Fine Arts Board to “obtain a bust of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, for display in a suitable, permanent location in the House of Representatives wing of the United States Capitol.”
“Absolutely NOT!” Greene said.
“We serve AMERICA NOT UKRAINE!” she declared.
Greene was joined in the meeting by Rep. Andy Biggs, (R-AZ), who rejected the idea.
“There is now a House resolution that seeks to put a display of Zelensky’s head in the U.S. Capitol. Was the $100+ billion to Ukraine not enough?” Biggs tweets.

Wilson has already introduced other pro-Ukraine laws.
Multiple bills have been introduced by the Republican of South Carolina. One bill, which was bipartisan, designated Russia as a state-sponsored terrorist organization.
He also introduced legislation that sought to “bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities and help protect its civilians” During war.
The House of Representatives Fine Arts Board reviews and approves all works. “fine art, historical objects, and similar property” Displayed in office buildings that are controlled by Congress’ lower chamber.
