Manhunt Underway for Escaped Prisoner in Maryland
Authorities in Maryland are currently on the hunt for an escaped prisoner who managed to flee from a transport van earlier today. The search for Randy Morris, a 38-year-old inmate who was serving time for burglary, is centered in Jessup, a town located approximately 15 miles southwest of Baltimore.
The Howard County Police Department is leading the manhunt, utilizing both ground units and drones to track down Morris. Described as a bald white male with a beard, standing at five feet nine inches tall and weighing between 130 to 140 pounds, Morris is currently at large and no longer restrained by handcuffs. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue shorts.
This is an ongoing situation, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
