The poll, conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, also found that Masters is well-known among more than 90% of Republican primary voters in the district. He also has a 47% favorable opinion, compared to Hamadeh’s 38%.
Although both Hamadeh and Masters were endorsed by Trump in their previous campaigns, Hamadeh currently has Trump’s endorsement for this congressional race. However, when voters were reminded that Trump endorsed Masters in his Senate race last year, Masters gained a slight lead at 31%.
The survey, which included 400 likely Republican primary voters, was conducted via phone calls and text messages. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
