Matt Walsh Sends Message to Conservatives: “Go Do Something”

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh has a message for conservatives who want to end the fight against gender ideology and the “Pride” movement: “Go do something.”

Walsh took to Twitter to respond to complaints from conservatives who believe it’s time to move on from fighting gender ideology and focus on other issues. He tweeted to his 2.1 million followers, “We’re actually making significant headway but they want us to move on because they’re bored or more likely jealous that people aren’t paying more attention to them.”

He continued, “Here’s an idea. If there’s another issue that you care deeply about and want to mobilize people around, go do it. Put the work in and rally people to your cause. It took us years to get the public to really care about gender ideology. Now we’ve succeeded and you’re bitter. Stop expecting us to do your work for you.”

Walsh urged conservatives to start a movement and promised to support and amplify their cause if he agrees with it. He also emphasized that getting people to care about an issue takes persistence, focus, and creativity.

Walsh criticized “modern conservatism” for looking with envy and resentment at its own most effective advocates and trying to tear them down as punishment for being successful. He concluded his message by saying, “Go do the thing you want done.”

This is not the first time Walsh has urged conservatives to take action. In April, he criticized the GOP establishment for telling conservatives to end the boycott against Anheuser-Busch after Bud Light’s partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

On his podcast, “The Matt Walsh Show,” Walsh provided a brutal assessment of the Republican establishment, accusing them of abdicating their responsibility to defend the country against evils like gender ideology.
