Matt Walsh Flies “What Is a Woman?” Flag Over Women’s March Protesters

While thousands of participants took to the streets of Los Angeles for the city’s annual Women’s March, a message scrawled across the sky asked a seemingly self-evident question — “What is a woman?”

The Daily Wire personality Matt Walsh took to Twitter and told march participants to “look up.”

Walsh also posted a photo of plane towing a banner which said whatisawoman.com, which brings users to a site advertising his new documentary.

The incident is the latest in Walsh’s ongoing discourse over the question of gender identity. With questions circulating about the involvement of transgender athletes in women’s sports, concerns of sexual content in public school curriculum, Walsh is using the message to promote his upcoming film “What is a Woman.”

On his Twitter profile, the commentator calls the inquiry “the question of our time.”

Ahead of the film’s release on June 1, Walsh’s message is being pushed onto thousands of marchers.

The LA Women’s March’s strong registration numbers spiked when a leaked Supreme Court opinion suggested the landmark Roe v. Wade case might be overturned, according to The Press-Enterprise.

Emiliana Guereca, co-founder of the Women’s March Foundation, told the Press-Enterprise registrations came at an accelerated pace in the days leading up to the event.

“At this point, we are getting a few registrations a minute,” she said.

Walsh said on Twitter the plane and banner will be flying all day.

“I’m definitely having more fun with the Women’s March than anyone actually marching in the Women’s March is,” he wrote online.
