McCarthy urges the US House to advance the TikTok expenses.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy announced on Sunday that legislation will be passed to address concerns about TikTok’s regional security. McCarthy claimed that the Chinese communist regime had access to the user data for the brief video app.

There are growing visits in the US to either pass bipartisan legislation to grant President Joe Biden’s leadership the constitutional authority to find a ban or to ban TikTok, which is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. Chew’s Thursday appearance before Congress” actually increased the likelihood that Congress will take some action ,” according to Rep. Mike Gallagher( R-Wis. ), the head of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, who spoke to ABC News on Sunday.

Although they have not yet expressly backed a U.S. restrictions, many Democrats have also expressed concerns.
