Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird Start Woke Film Company to Push Progressive Agenda: “Move Culture Forward”

World Cup winner Megan Rapinoe, a radical advocate of allowing biological male athletes to compete in women’s sports, as well as soccer star Sue Bird, have launched a new film production company specifically for “underrepresented communities” to “move culture forward” and push their woke agenda.

The company which they are calling A Touch More, is meant to “bring a touch more understanding, connection, entertainment, and conversation to the evolving media landscape.” According to a joint statement by Rapinoe and Bird, the lineup of content will primarily focus on content LGBTQ+ issues.

“As athletes,” the statement reads, “we know how powerful our platforms are and the impact we can have on the world. A Touch More is a manifestation of our values, and our desire to bring to surface stories of those who shape and move culture forward. We’re incredibly excited for some of the projects we have in the works and can’t wait to share more about this next chapter.”

A Touch More is partnered with Bird’s other company, TOGETHXR, whose company mission is to try and earn greater coverage for women’s sports.

“Megan and Sue both represent the power sport can have on culture,” said Jessica Robertson, co-founder and COO of TOGETHXR. “They also know the power of storytelling. It’s a dream come true for TOGETHXR to partner in bringing this studio to life. We can’t wait for the impact we will make together.”

While Rapinoe and Bird claim there is not enough representation and pushing of LGBTQ+ themes already, that seems hardly the case when it come to the onslaught of progressive content on television and in movies.

Recent examples alone can be seen with the disastrous attempt to push woke themes to children through Disney’s content, which resulted in box office failures “Lightyear” and “Strange New World.” Warner Bros. Discovery after their breakup with AT&T had to cancel millions of dollars in underperforming content as well as terminate explicitly woke content under development such as Ellen DeGeneres’ series aimed at preschoolers and “Batgirl,” an entire film which had already completed production.
