Megyn Kelly launches new podcast network, MK Media
Sirius XM podcast host and former Fox News personality Megyn Kelly is taking her career to the next level by launching her own podcast network, MK Media, as she continues to build her presence in the political media landscape.
The new network, which will feature video and audio shows, is set to launch in April and will host content creators from the news and entertainment sectors.
The initial lineup of MK Media will include independent journalist Mark Halperin, Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan, and influencer and political commentator Link Lauren, with additional shows expected to follow.
“I’m thrilled to launch MK Media and use our platform to help sane, reasonable, good-humored people build their own followings in this new media space,” Kelly said in a statement. “I’m a huge fan of Mark, Maureen, and Link, and I know our audience will be just as excited as I am to hear more from them.”
Kelly first launched her audio-only podcast in 2020, before striking a deal with SiriusXM in 2021 to host a live, daily radio show. Her podcast has since become one of the most popular political podcasts in the U.S., with around 3.5 million subscribers on YouTube.
Halperin, a former ABC News and Bloomberg veteran, will host Next Up, a news show.
“America is filled with quality sandboxes, but I can say without fear of contradiction that the Megyn Kelly sandbox is as good as it gets these days,” Halperin said. “I’m thrilled to play Dr. Phil to Megyn’s Oprah, though that metaphor might be lost on some.”
Maureen Callahan, a Vanity Fair and New York Post columnist, will host The Nerve, a show focused on entertainment and culture.
“I can’t wait to get started on The Nerve, diving into pop culture, celebrity scandals, and all the stories that captivate, aggravate, and fascinate,” Callahan said
Link Lauren, an influencer and former communications adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign, will host Spot On, a news-focused show.
