Megyn Kelly reconciles with Trump: Relationships can be rebuilt.

Megyn Kelly⁣ and Donald Trump Make Peace ‍After ⁤Feud

Megyn Kelly recently ‌revealed that she and ⁣former President ‌Donald ⁢Trump have seemingly‍ put ⁤their contentious⁢ feud behind them. The feud began⁢ after ⁣a 2015 GOP ‍debate where‍ Kelly,⁢ as the moderator, ⁤asked Trump about his degrading comments⁢ towards women.

During⁤ her SiriusXM‍ show, The‌ Megyn Kelly ‌Show, Kelly shared that she had ⁢a private ⁣conversation with Trump at the ⁢Turning Point ⁣Action ‍conference ‌over ‌the weekend. She described the encounter as “frankly great” ⁣and emphasized that ⁤Trump “could not ‍have been⁤ nicer.”

A Lesson in Rebuilding⁣ Relationships

Reflecting on ‍their complicated history, ⁢Kelly expressed that there ⁣was a⁣ valuable lesson to‌ be⁤ learned ⁤from their ⁢interaction. She stated, “To me, ‍there was a ⁢lesson ⁣in⁢ that kind⁣ moment ‌between the two of us. And it⁤ was⁢ that⁢ even as a journalist, if you can take your own ego out of it, if⁤ you can be quick to ⁢sort of get ⁢past these ⁣confrontations and⁤ these ⁢negative ⁣experiences, you can⁤ open up such possibility⁣ for yourself, you can open ⁤up a field‌ of wellness,‍ of positivity, of good relationships.”

She ‌further ⁣added, “I just think it’s a testament ⁤to how⁣ people can change and⁣ people can rebuild relationships and people ⁣can move forward in a positive way.”

Kelly, ‍who was ‍working for Fox News at the time of the‍ 2015 debate, ⁢recalled her‍ question to Trump, ⁢where‍ she addressed his ⁢derogatory remarks towards women. Trump responded by jokingly referring to Rosie ⁣O’Donnell and⁢ defending his straightforward communication‍ style.

Positive Signs‌ of⁢ Reconciliation

While⁣ discussing the current state‌ of her relationship with ‍Trump, Kelly expressed that ⁣she felt‌ the feelings⁢ of⁢ making amends were reciprocated. She ‌mentioned that Trump referred to her as “great” ⁤during ‌his speech at ‍the Turning Point‍ Action conference,⁣ emphasizing that she wants⁢ the country to thrive.

Additionally, ‍Kelly ‍stated that although‌ Trump was highly popular at the event,⁣ she believes ⁣that ⁣any ⁢GOP nominee would be⁤ a ⁤better choice than a ‍candidate from the Left.

Looking Ahead

Kelly concluded by expressing her doubts about Trump’s attendance at the‌ first GOP ⁣debate.⁤ Based ⁤on her conversation with⁤ him, ⁤she stated that she “wouldn’t bet on” his ⁣participation.

“I’ve made it pretty clear that I don’t see ‌how‌ you⁣ can⁢ vote for somebody‌ on the other side‍ who can’t say⁢ what a woman is, right, who’s trying to‍ indoctrinate our children in backwards racial thinking, who wants children with body parts cut off before they ⁤hit age⁢ 18,” Kelly remarked. ‍”How can you vote for that? So it could‍ be Donald Trump,‌ could⁣ be ⁢Ron DeSantis, could ⁣be Tim ⁤Scott,‌ could⁢ be Nikki Haley, ‍all ⁣these people offering a vision that is much more clear-headed and positive⁢ for our country than‌ what we’re seeing‌ right now in the Left.”
