Megyn Kelly rants against Blake Lively and bullies on the Left – Washington Examiner
During a recent speech at teh Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in National Harbor, Maryland, Megyn Kelly voiced strong criticism of actress Blake Lively and alleged that the Left behaves as bullies. Kelly specifically addressed Lively’s legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni over sexual harassment allegations made during the filming of their movie “it Ends With Us.” Kelly questioned Lively’s claims and compared her to Amber Heard, suggesting that Lively is seeking attention through her legal battles.
Baldoni, who has countersued Lively for $400 million, had a legal representative who previously defended Kelly during her own controversies with NBC News. Kelly also criticized Democrats, accusing them of being controlling elites who intimidate those with less power. she referenced the case of Daniel Penny,a Marine veteran acquitted in a manslaughter case related to the death of Jordan Neely, and condemned the Manhattan District Attorney’s actions against him. Kelly’s speech focused more on personal grievances and societal critiques than on traditional political topics usually discussed at the event.
Megyn Kelly rants against Blake Lively and bullies on the Left
NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland — Megyn Kelly spent the vast majority of her Conservative Political Action Conference speech Friday afternoon ranting against actress Blake Lively’s legal dispute with actor Justin Baldoni.
The SiriusXM host also took swipes at the Left, whom she accused of behaving as “bullies.”
“Blake Lively is very dissatisfied with virtually everything around her and decides to allege that Justin Baldoni this, I mean, forgive me, very effeminate, evolved, modern feminist man, the fun kind of guy, is like this virulent sexual harasser who can’t stop harassing one of the big stars in Hollywood in front of everybody on set,” said Kelly. “I’ve got questions.”

Lively sued Baldoni and his team over sexual harassment allegation claims during filming for their blockbuster romance movie It Ends With Us.
Baldoni countersued Lively, husband Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloan for $400 million, as well as filed a libel lawsuit against the New York Times, which broke the story late last year for $250 million.
Kelly claimed in her speech that Lively “is instead looking a lot more like Amber Heard,” referencing Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, who faced blowback from the public during their contentious divorce and defamation case.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, defended Kelly during her legal dispute with NBC News when she was pushed out for defending Halloween costumes that involved blackface and still received the full $69 million from her contract.
“Justin Baldoni did something very smart. He hired the lawyer who represented me in my fight with NBC News, which ended well,” Kelly said to applause. “… Bryan Fredman knows how to fight back against a bully. Trust me.”
The speech was a departure from most speakers who focused on political issues, including praising President Donald Trump’s one-month administration, discussing the Russia-Ukraine war, and pushing for the full release of hostages in Hamas’s power.
Kelly also aimed her attacks against Democrats, branding them as controlling elites targeting people with less power.
“You’ve been bullied or seen others with lesser power, bullied by the media and the leftist Democrats,” she told the CPAC crowd. “You have been a victim of overbearing and controlling leftists who think they are the final arbiters of what’s best for you and your life.”
The former Fox News host pointed to Daniel Penny, the U.S. Marine veteran who was acquitted of manslaughter in the aftermath of Jordan Neely’s death.
Penny’s legal battle stemmed from placing Jordan Neely, a 30-year-old mentally ill homeless man, into a chokehold for about six minutes in May 2023, resulting in his death.
Kelly slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as an “insane crank” for charging Penny over Neely’s death.
