Megyn Kelly Reveals To Actor That The One And Only Fan Letter She Ever Wrote Was To Him; Actor Reacts
Megyn Kelly revealed to actor Kirk Cameron on Thursday that the one and only fan letter she ever wrote as a young teen was to him — and his reaction was priceless.
During Sirius XM’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” podcast, the host was speaking to the 52-year-old actor about a wide variety of topics when she shared that she once wrote him a letter confessing her adoration.
“I was one of those starry-eyed young women,” Kelly shared. “I think I was like a tween when you were the big star on ‘Growing Pains.’ And, can I tell you something? You are the only fan letter I’ve ever written. It was to you.”
Cameron had a huge grin on his face and laughed as Kelly shared the news.

The “Lifemark” star replied that he did get the letter, and said it was why he was doing her show Thursday.
“Megyn, you did,” Cameron shared. “You sent it and that’s why I’m here on your show right now is to finally reply after 35 years. To say ‘thank you Megyn for your letter. It was so sweet.’”
The “Fireproof” star then promised to send Kelly “the last remaining dreamy Mike Seaver pillow case. It should be arriving in the mail in about two days.”
Kelly replied, “I can die now. I’m good.”
Cameron is probably best known for his role as Mike Seavor in the hit ABC sitcom, which ran from 1985-1992 and made the actor a heartthrob to teen girls everywhere.
The actor also shared that if he’d known Kelly was on the other side of that camera lens as a huge fan, he would’ve been “more concerned about how I looked, what I said.”
