Missouri AG Fires Soros-Backed Prosecutor Kim Gardner
FIRST ON FOX – Andrew Bailey, Republican Missouri Attorney-General, fired the Democratic St. Louis Circuit’s embattled President. Kim Gardner is an attorney After a weekend accident in which a repeat offenders was involved, she refused to resign on Thursday. He had violated several bond terms and was still free.
The AG’s office is currently filing a Petition Quo Warrantor. This is a legal mechanism under state law that allows the Attorney general to remove a prosecutor who is negligent in her duties.
On Wednesday, Bailey gave Gardner an ultimatum – resign or be removed – after a motorist who repeatedly violated his bond conditions on earlier charges Crumbling The incident left a teenager volleyball player with serious injuries that had to be repaired. Gardner’s office should be responsible for monitoring compliance with bond terms and revoking them if violated.
Janae Edmondson (16 years old), was visiting St. Louis with her family to play in a volleyball tournament. Daniel Riley, 21, who was speeding in the downtown area while the family was there, did not yield and caused a collision which ultimately resulted in Edmondson being pinned.

According to local reports Edmondson only survived because her father was quick to think and had military training. She is currently in critical condition.
Local reports showed Riley out on bail in the days that followed the crash. He was awaiting trial for an armed robbery. KSDK claims that Riley had broken the terms of his bail at least 50 times. However, the circuit attorney’s office didn’t ask for the bond to be revoked.

Garnder released Tuesday’s statement stating that “our hearts go out to the victim and her family for this unspeakable tragedy that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact not only on her, but her family and loved ones.”
“It’s unfortunate that there are those who choose to twist the facts to take advantage of this situation for their own selfish motives, “Gardner stated. “This is not the time for finger pointing, it’s time to support this family, and ensure that justice is served.”
