Shooting at a college in Nashville

The mass shooting that occurred this night at a personal Christian school in Nashville resulted in the deaths of at least six men, including three sons. A fight with police resulted in the death of the gunman, a 28-year-old woman who went by the name of” man.” According to authorities, the gunman entered The Covenant School through a hand entrance and went up to the second floor.

At Woodmont Baptist Church, a reconciliation space was created so that parents could fulfill their kids who attend The Covenant School. During the initial news conference of the day, Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake revealed some fresh details about the gunman:

Drake declared,” We have located the defendant.” ” As it relates to her at this time, we are having an continued analysis.”

” Based on my initial research, is that she was once a student at that school ,” he continued. However, I’m not sure what years all of that was, but that’s what I was told.

Jewish rallies

Massive protests and a nationwide strike erupted in Israel on Sunday. The demonstrations followed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu removing a cabinet member opposed to his bid to reform the nation’s Supreme Court.

Netanyahu, who is seeking to expand the Israeli parliament’s lawmaking authority by curbing the Supreme Court’s power, on Sunday fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, who had called for a pause in the reforms. Left-wing protesters responded by blocking streets and bridges and lighting fires on roadways.

Critics of Israel’s Supreme Court say it has too much power and is not answerable to the people. Under the proposed reforms, the Knesset would have an increased role in the selection of judges and the power to override Supreme Court decisions overturning laws.

Additionally, the high court would be compelled to apply the law to cases rather than making decisions based solely on its own” reasonability” test. Even followers of the change warn that forcing them through could result in more serious protests and significant violence. Supporters claim that the new system of government would provide more checks and balances, similar to the platform in the United States.

By national time in the evening, Netanyahu declared that he would delay the measures until the summer and look for temporary agreement.
