Montana Officials Dismiss ‘Explosion’ Rumor After Viral Video Sets Internet Abuzz

This viral video shows an explosion that appears to have rocked the skies in southeastern Canada. Montana.

Dolly Moore from Billings, Montana posted the video to Twitter. It shows the aftermath of an explosion. You can see a large smoke trail falling across the sky. The video was viewed more than 2,000,000 times on Twitter within four hours. Officials from the state deny reports of an explosion. According to Mrs. Moore, she started recording after she saw a plane and then an explosion.

“I just started snapping pictures with my phone when I saw the plane fly over,” Moore spoke with The Daily Wire via phone. “It shook my office window.”

However, officials have denied that there was an explosion. “We are aware of the video shared on Twitter and claims of a ‘massive explosion’ over Billings,” The Billings Twittered Friday night “However, our PD, Fire & airport have NOT been called to any incidents related to this video and there haven’t been any plane crashes picked up on radar.”

Moore stated that she saw the plane flying over her house. She ran to her workplace window and started filming. She says that she witnessed an explosion shortly afterwards. She began recording. The video shows an object falling slowly from the sky, and a long, smokey trail following behind.

Moore stated that the object moved slowly and down like nothing she’d ever seen. “I remember in middle school when I saw the [Space Shuttle] Challenger explosion,” She said. “Debris went everywhere. This was not like that. There was one big object, like a mushroom in the sky, but very slowly coming down.”

“You know when you see a plane crash on TV and it’s all going very fast? This was not like that,” She continued.

Two nights prior, she also reported that jet fighters flew over her house. She also reported seeing Blackhawk helicopters over the area. The aircraft flight tracking website was updated Friday night at 10:58 p.m. ET FlightRadar24 One Blackhawk helicopter is seen flying around Billings.

“We have confirmed with @MontanaDES & @GovGianforte that there have not been any explosions in, around, or across #Montana,” The city Additional. “They are aware of the video and it can not be substantiated.”

Mrs. Moore stated to The Daily Wire that she believes the video is authentic. “We have no reason to make this up,” Mrs. Moore spoke with her husband over the phone. “We’re not techies, we don’t know how to do that.”

This event is unknown if it has any connection with the Chinese spy balloon that was seen above Montana on Thursday. Officials stated that the balloon had moved over the state of Montana and was now visible. Kansas Friday afternoon
