Stone described the bus as a double-decker with a sleeper unit on top. Emergency responders had to remove parts of the bus to access and free the trapped passengers.

Stone mentioned that most of the passengers suffered minor injuries such as broken bones, cuts, and bruises. The Saskatchewan Health Authority confirmed that two individuals were sent to a hospital in Regina, while the rest were treated and released.
Stone also noted that the rollover occurred while many passengers were asleep, leaving them unprepared for the accident. Emergency responders provided blankets to keep them warm.
