Nashville Christian School Shooter Identified As Transgender: Authorities

The 28-year-old woman who killed six people, including three sons, at a Christian college in Nashville identified as transgender, according to officials.

Around 10:27 a.m., 14 minutes after the first call to police was made, the shooter — a white 28-year-old Nashville woman who went by the name of” man ,” was apprehended by police at the Covenant School, according to Nashville authorities. John Drake, the chief of police in Nashville, described the shooting as a” focused harm.”

A police established stated at a press conference held outside the school that the police department’s effect was prompt. ” Soldiers entered the school’s principal drama and started cleaning it.” They moved toward the gunshots after hearing shots coming from the next level. When the soldiers reached the second grade, they noticed a female gunman who was firing. She was shot tragically by responding police officers after the commanders engaged her.

Hours after the attack, Metro Nashville Police identified the gunman as a 28-year-old person. An official claimed the sniper was” armed with two assault-type rifles and a gun” during the news conference. Officials believe the sniper attended Covenant School in the past. She was removed by two soldiers from the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The adult shooter’s house was searched on Monday noon by local authorities and the FBI; the Daily Wire did not mark her because of company policy.

Three 9-year-old kids and three adults 60 years of age and older were among the six victims who were identified by the authorities.

The victims, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department, are” Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all ages 9; Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, age 6 ;”

The Covenant School was run by Katherine Koonce, where a 28-year-old lady opened fire on Monday night before being killed by two police officers.

Children are educated from school through fifth grade at The Covenant School, a private Christian education in Nashville’s upscale Green Hills neighborhood. The school enrolls between 195 and 210 students, according to its site.
