Nashville Flower Shop Refuses Service to Republican Fundraiser, Blames GOP for Shooting
A flower shop in Nashville refused to provide services to a Republican National Committee fundraiser, citing the GOP’s role in the recent shooting at a Christian school in the city.
The FLWR Shop owners published a letter on their Instagram, explaining why they denied service to the GOP event, as reported by Fox News

“We immediately declined this ‘opportunity,’ and we want to take this moment to publicly clarify our stance,” the FLWR Shop wrote in its
letter
.
The owners also explicitly stated that they “will not be accepting any of your money” and that “the blood of the 3 beautiful babies we lost in Nashville is on that money.”
They also urged others to “say no to taking money or jobs from the Republican party” until gun laws are changed.
The shop owners emphasized that they do not discriminate against conservatives and respect their views and business, but that they cannot ignore the RNC’s role in creating the tragedy that occurred in Nashville.
The shooting at Covenant School in Nashville was committed by a transgender shooter who murdered six people, including three children, on March 27.
Following the shooting, Democrats in the Tennessee State House staged a gun reform demonstration, which some have labeled as an insurrection. The House voted to expel two of the members, but they were later
