Nashville shooting: Audrey Hale identified as Covenant School shooter

Amass shooting on Monday at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, left three children, three adults, and a female shooter dead.

Police identified the gunman as Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old white woman who resided in the Nashville area. John Drake, the chief of police in Nashville, claimed Hale was a former pupil of the institution.

Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all nine years old, have been named as the victim. Mike Hill, 60, Katherine Koonce, and Cynthia Peak, 61, are the sufferers who are adults. Koonce worked in the Nashville space for more than ten years before becoming the mind of Covenant School in July 2016. According to NBC News, Hill served as a steward, and Peak was the substitute speaker.

Drake said,” When we send our kids to school, we expect them to live, learn, have fun, and return from that day’s experience.” ” We don’t plan for things like this.”

Drake confirmed that there were law enforcement officers present at Hale’s house. According to Drake, officers found maps of the college that showed entry points and a statement for the shooting that day. There was another destination mentioned in the Nashville area, but Hale chose not to shoot at that school because of security concerns.

Drake claimed it was a deliberate incident, and the gunman identified herself as trans.

According to Don Aaron, director of media relations for the Metro Nashville Police Department, Hale entered the school through the side gate carrying two assault-style rifles and a pistol.

According to Drake, passage was gained by shooting through one of the walls.

When the gunman arrived, a five-person team of officers engaged him, with two of the five starting fire. At 10:27 a.m., Hale was mortally shot.

At a place in Nashville, FBI agents and SWAT team members were found, and neighbors reported hearing explosions. Officers allegedly placed bombs at the door to forcibly enter the house, according to NBC News writers on the world.

Police are not yet prepared to launch their working argument on a motive, according to Drake. Within two years, police also intend to release video surveillance footage of the killing.

Preschool through fifth grade students attend The Covenant School, a private Holy institution. According to News Channel 5, the education held an active shooter drilling next year.

According to the university’s page, the private school was established in 2001 as a government of the Covenant Presbyterian Church and has been enrolling between 195 and 210 individuals in recent years.
