Nashville shooting: Footage shows violent first moments of attack on Christian school

Police-released video shows the moments the Nashville school shooter drove to the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, parked her car, and shot her way into the building, looking for victims before finding and killing three children and three adults in the latest mass shooting to traumatize the nation.

The tense minutes leading up to the killing reveal a variety of planned attacks. Police identified the shooter as Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old biological man who went by the alias” woman ,” and reported that he was armed with two assault-style firearms, one 9-millimeter pistol, and two pistols. Hale, a previous pupil at the institution, resided in the Nashville region.

The movie also depicts the moments before the suspect shot out the panels of the building’s side walls and entered. Hale drove her Honda Fit to the classroom on a bright Monday morning, passing at least one individual who can be seen standing by what appears to be an umbrella in the parking lot, and then parked the vehicle. The game lacks sound, and it is unclear what the man did if or when he heard the opening shots.

Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all nine years old, have been named as the shooting’s sufferers. Mike Hill, 60, Katherine Koonce, and Cynthia Peak, all 61, are the sufferers who are adults. Images that were made public on Monday depicted the furious and upsetting times when law enforcement worked to safely and effectively transport staff and children to their families.

” We expect our children to live, learn, have fun, and return from that week understanding when we send them to school.” John Drake, the chief of police in Nashville, said on Monday that” we don’t envision activities like this.” Drake continued by saying that the inspection brought law enforcement to Hale’s house, where they discovered a statement detailing the shooting that day as well as detailed drawings of the college, including entry points.

There was another area mentioned in the Nashville area near Hale’s house, but due to security precautions, police said he chose not to shoot it. They also added that they have a working notion about the motive but aren’t yet ready to share it.

When officials arrived at the school and started shooting at Hale, two of the five-person team’s officers returned fire. Hale was shot dead at 10:27 in the morning.
