NBA star Jonathan Isaac has launched a new signature show as part of his apparel line that is meant to counter the “woke” agenda of retail brands.
The “Judah 1 Low” will come in three styles, with each featuring a Bible verse. The new shoe is part of Isaac’s UNITUS brand and follows the Judah 1 high-top that was released last year.
“The Judah 1 Low is a continuation of my journey to glorify Christ in everything I do,” Isaac said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.
“Each shoe is more than just a product; it’s a testament to faith, perseverance, and the power of God’s word,” the Orlando Magic forward added. “I’m thrilled to share these shoes with my fans and hope they inspire true greatness in everyone who wears them.”
The “Spotless” version, featuring Psalm 51:7, became available for purchase Wednesday. Isaac said additional versions, “New Creations” and “For Us” will be available in August.
Isaac announced his UNITUS apparel brand in 2023, saying his goal would be freedom.
“Retail brands have the freedom to go woke,” the NBA star noted. “We have the freedom to create an alternative.”
“UNITUS is a sports and apparel company, and the basis of it for me is freedom,” Isaac said. “You have companies that are in that field who have made a conscious decision to either attack or undermine Christian values, conservative values and things like that.”
