Nearly 30% More American Men Single Than Women
A February 8 Survey from Pew Research Center The study found that 34% of 18-29 year old males report being single, while only 34% report that they are.
Terry Schilling, President of American Principles Project told Breitbart News, “Men are more under attack than ever. A majority of college graduates are now women, and men are making less in the workforce. And because women expect their partner to make more than them, it’s leading to a great isolation of American men.”
“On top of the economic attacks on men, there’s been a rise in unfettered access to pornography online so now we’re seeing a rise in not just involuntary celibate men, but a growing number of men opting out of relationships altogether,” Schilling claimed. “The service economy combined with the disastrous sexual revolution have wreaked havoc on our country. We need to recalibrate.”
According to The Post MillennialPsychology Today’s study has shown that men often avoid asking women out of fear of appearing too macho “creepy.” According to the study, 53% of men between 18 and 40 years old reported being single. 44% of those in the group expressed fear of being creepy. “reduces their likelihood of interacting with women.”
According to the Pew Research poll, roughly 30% of US adults are single. “they are not married, living with a partner or in a committed romantic relationship.”
Between the ages of 18-29, 47 percent of adults report being single. Only 21 percent of those aged between 30 and 49 are single. 50-64 years old report being single at 29 percent. 65-years-old and older report 33 percent.
Young men make up 63 percent of the total, while those aged 30 to 66 are among the lowest at 20 percent and 30 percent, respectively.
No age group has a higher single rate than women. Women 65 and older are at 39%. Only 17 percent of single women aged 30 to 49 are reported.
As Breitbart reports, young men “commit suicide at four times the rate of their female counterparts. They are falling behind in education, with women receiving nearly 60 percent of undergraduate degrees. And research suggests that the rise in mass shootings, committed primarily by young men, is linked to the ‘great isolation of American men,’ as Schilling put it.”
A poll found that 57% of Americans surveyed claim not to be. “currently looking for a relationship or casual dates.”
Schilling claims that pornography is a reason young men don’t want to be in relationships. Young men are less likely to seek out relationships with young women than older women due to the fact that younger women are more likely to date older men, and because of the rise in transgender and nonbinary self-identifications in the younger population.
