Exciting news! Netanyahu is eager to meet with DeSantis during his trip to Israel this week. Stay tuned for updates on this highly anticipated meeting!

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is excited to meet with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) during his visit to Israel this week. DeSantis is on an international tour to boost his foreign policy credentials ahead of the 2024 GOP presidential race.

DeSantis will arrive in Israel on Thursday after meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo. While plans for meetings with Israeli officials have not been confirmed, Netanyahu has expressed his willingness to meet with DeSantis and any American representative.

DESANTIS HEADS OVERSEAS AMID 2024 PRESIDENTIAL SPECULATION

Netanyahu’s remarks did not confirm a meeting with DeSantis, and the governor’s office has not released any information about specific officials he plans to meet with. However, DeSantis will deliver the keynote address at the “Celebrating the Faces of Israel” conference in Jerusalem on Thursday, organized to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of Israel.

DeSantis has been tight-lipped about his 2024 plans, but his nationwide book tour promoting his new book, The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival, has fueled speculation about his presidential ambitions. Despite facing an uphill battle against former President Donald Trump, who continues to amass early primary endorsements, DeSantis remains the second-highest polling Republican for the party’s 2024 nomination.
