New Details Emerge On Philadelphia Eagles Lineman Indicted For Rape
Philadelphia Eagles rookie guard Joshua Sills has been placed on the NFL’s Commissioner Exempt List following his indictment earlier this week on two felony charges — rape and kidnapping — and new details about the alleged incident have emerged as well.
Sills’ will remain on that list – which bars him from playing, practicing, or traveling with the team — until the league conducts a thorough review of the situation in light of the league’s rules regarding personal conduct. Sills’ absence from the Eagles’ Super Bowl trip makes it unlikely that he will be removed from this list.
According to a Report Published by TMZ Sports. Sills allegedly restrained a female in his truck early December 2019 and forced her to have oral sex after he gave her and a relative a ride home from a nearby eatery.
According to the police report, which TMZ obtained, the unnamed woman stated that Sills had driven her and a cousin home — and after her cousin got out of the truck and entered the house, she alleged that Sills grabbed her and pulled her back into the truck. She stated that the cousin had made her statements. “did not think anything of it and shut the door and walked into the house.”
Sills then allegedly attempted to kiss her and grabbed her by her neck before putting her down on the chair. Sills allegedly continued to grope her, while she fought back. “no” You can do it a lot of times.
She claimed that Sills had pulled Sills down on her lap, telling her that “she was doing this and was not leaving until she did this” — and allegedly forced her to perform oral sex for about 20 minutes. The police report noted that the woman had a number of injuries following the alleged assault — bruising at the back of her throat and on her inner lip, on her right ear and on the back of her left knee — and that they had taken photos to document everything at the time the report was made.
Sills was arrested on felony kidnapping, rape charges. He was ordered to appear in court February 16.
