New York Post Denied Press Credentials for White House Event

President Biden’s Son Faces Possible Indictment

The New York Post was reportedly denied press credentials for a White House event on Monday, just days ahead of a possible indictment for President Joe Biden’s embattled son Hunter Biden.

According to the Post, the outlet had been told via email that the White House would not “be able to accommodate” their request for press credentials. Of some 50 seats that had been reserved for reporters, 20 remained empty throughout the president’s remarks.

The event, which took place in the White House-adjacent Eisenhower Executive Office Building, addressed federal airline policies and also included remarks from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

Biden’s remarks come just two weeks after an April 26th meeting between the Justice Department and Hunter Biden’s legal team – a move that some think could signal that the DOJ is nearing a decision on whether or not to indict the president’s son.

President Biden has had to field a growing number of questions about Hunter’s foreign business dealings — and his own alleged involvement in both his son’s business relationships and, according to a whistleblower complaint, a possible money-for-policy arrangement of his own.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has set a press conference for the middle of the week — and has urged the DOJ to wait until after that to make a final decision regarding a possible indictment.
