Gingrich: US needs a competent commander in chief
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich Slams President Biden’s Mental Capabilities
In a world this dangerous, you can’t have a commander in chief who doesn’t know what he’s doing or where he is.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) strongly criticized President Joe Biden on Sunday following a special counsel report that raised concerns about the president’s mental capabilities. Speaking on The Cats Roundtable with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770 AM, Gingrich expressed his worries about having a leader who lacks awareness and competence in such a perilous world.
The recently released special counsel report did not bring charges against Biden but did highlight his mishandling of classified documents. Special counsel Robert Hur explained that one of the reasons charges were not pursued was due to Biden’s “significantly limited” memory, which would likely make him appear sympathetic and well-meaning to a jury.
Hur wrote, ”Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017, and in his interview with our office in 2023.”
Following the report, Biden held a press conference to address the findings and inadvertently added to concerns about his mental capabilities by confusing the leaders of Mexico and Egypt. Gingrich pointed out the significance of this mistake, emphasizing that it raises doubts about Biden’s ability to serve as commander in chief.
Biden also recently required assistance to recall the name of Hamas, the terrorist group responsible for attacking Israel on Oct. 7. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre defended this slip-up as a common occurrence.

How does having clear goals and maintaining focus contribute to an individual’s success
There are many different factors that can contribute to why some people are more successful than others. Here are five possible reasons:
1. Hard work and persistence: Successful people often possess a strong work ethic and are willing to put in the time and effort required to achieve their goals. They are not easily discouraged by setbacks and remain determined to overcome obstacles.
2. Resilience and adaptability: Successful individuals are often able to bounce back from failure and adapt to changing circumstances. They are willing to learn from their mistakes and make adjustments as necessary.
3. Clear goals and focus: Successful people tend to have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and develop a plan to work towards those goals. They stay focused on their priorities and avoid distractions that could hinder their progress.
4. Continuous learning and self-improvement: Successful individuals understand the importance of ongoing learning and personal development. They seek out new knowledge, skills, and experiences that can help them to grow and enhance their abilities.
5. Positive mindset and attitude: Successful people often have a positive outlook on life and believe in their own abilities. They see challenges as opportunities for growth and maintain a optimistic attitude even in the face of adversity.
Of course, success is subjective and can mean different things to different people. These factors are just some possible reasons why some individuals may appear to be more successful than others.
